Holly is the founding director of the Center for Homicide Bereavement, a service of the Victims of Violence (VOV) Program at the Cambridge Health Alliance.  She formerly directed VOV’s Community Crisis Response Team and has worked extensively
with traumatized communities in Massachusetts, Alaska, New York and Eastern Europe.  Her 31 years of practice in clinical and community social work have specialized in psychological trauma and traumatic grief. As award-winning social worker, she provides training and supervision to clinical and community practitioners throughout the country.  Her private clinical practice is in Cambridge, MA.

Barbara has been a leading expert in the field of the psychology of trauma for over 30 years . For the past 10 years she has been the Director of the Victims of Violence Program, an adult outpatient
trauma clinic of the Cambridge Health Alliance.  She has served as Training Director of the Coordinated Care Program for Political Violence Survivors , programs serving the needs of immigrant and refugee populations ( both domestically and internationally)   Barbara has developed several group therapy models for treating complex trauma integrating mindfulness practices and the arts.

Mary is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and founding director of the Victims of Violence (VOV) Program of the Cambridge
Health Alliance. She is the founder and has been the executive Director of Violence Transformed since 2008.   A community and clinical psychologist, She has lectured widely and written extensively about the ecological context of interpersonal and sexual violence, the treatment of psychological trauma and expressions of recovery and resiliency in trauma survivors.

Janet brings to Connect her over 40 years of working with traumatized  individuals, groups, and communities. She was a founder of the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, the 2nd and only continuing rape crisis center in the United States. For over 28 years she has served as Coordinator of the Acute Crime Crisis Service of the Victims of Violence Program of the Cambridge Health Alliance through which she has a teaching appointment at the Harvard Medical School. She has written about trauma, lectured nationally and internationally, and has provided direct services, training, supervision and consultation. Janet has a specialization in the field of the impact on providers of working with trauma. She is also trained in mindfulness practice and chaplaincy/spiritual care. In 2012 she received a award for outstanding career in social work from the Boston University School of Social Work.
